Gruntman and Geek Comic
"This episode highlights the compulsive anger-response that often arises from unresolved guilt. It also provides a metaphor for the destructive social outcomes associated with the legion of insidious junk-food ideologies that permeate and distort western values, attitudes and life-choices. And finally, this episode accentuates how totally cool & bad-ass Gruntman and Geek really are ;)"
Check out this episode of Gruntman and Geek and the previous ones at Fight Geek.
ZYDRUNAS SAVICKAS
ZYDRUNAS SAVICKAS is my current brute strength winner of the week. He lacks some endurance but is one of the top Strongest men in the world. Most may have thought to have seen Mark Henry on here....I would have put him on here but I was looking at competing strongman. Mark did do the Arnold Classic but never the WSM, that is why he is not on here but...He is probably the current and all time strongest man ever.

Are you a Soft or Hard target?
This is an important thing to look at for EVERYONE. People get robbed, murdered, mugged, beat up and all kinds of things everyday in the world. This post is some things to look at and think about how you look at life.
"Really and truly, you want to avoid situations that require self-defense skills. In everyday life, fighting is the action of last resort when all else within the realm of self-protection has failed. Those among us who have something to prove might disagree with me, and I say the fight on the street is a brutal testing ground. Though I do train my physical skills every week, I am keenly interested in target hardening. How do I make myself less desirable to the predators of society?"

20 HUGE fat bar pullups
Pull ups are a great way to build your lats but are also a great upper body movement all together. Most people don't like to do them because they say "I am to heavy to do them" or "I lose my grip" well first of all you can't do them because you don't try. If you see a challenge you should accept it and attack it head on. This guy is obviously ripped and very muscular but look at the bar he is doing these pull ups on....Its HUGE!!! No excuses get after it!!!

Sandbag Power Cleans!!
Zach Even-Esh Shares some of his stuff from the Underground Strength Manual.
My favorite sandbag exercise is bar none, the Sandbag Power Clean.
Nothing like gripping and ripping into a sandbag to develop nasty hand and grip strength and full body power.
Squat over your sandbag and assume the bottom position of the squat:
flat back
chest high
Grab the sandbag and rip it straight up. You want to try to get the bag air born. Catch with your arms under the bag and make sure you stand straight up.
Squat the bag down rather than dropping it.
This saves wear and tear on the bag and gives extra work to your lower body.
Try hitting the sandbag power clean for 5 x 5 reps first in your workouts.
Don’t fear the heavy bags. It’s the wrestling of the bag that really tests your physical and mental drive.
See the video below….
You don’t have to dip under the bag as David Ellis does in this video. You can try to pull the bag faster to get it higher.
Kill it!

Combative Skills Demonstration
Steven Mosley is conducting Combative Skills Demonstrations to all kinds of people. Most students and athletes are not mentally tough and some are not as physically tough as they should be. Giving your athletes some good mental toughness training will get them more in to the game and be more aggressive. If your looking to bring out the animal in your athletes check out one of Steven's blogs here.
